The TSR Tropical Storm Tracker presents tropical cyclone data received from three tropical cyclone warning centres via the UK Met. Office DPDS service.These warning centres are the US National Weather Service Tropical Prediction Center/National Hurricane Center (TPC/NHC), the US National Weather Service Central Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC) and the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC).
Tropical cyclone warnings are issued by these agencies for each system that is active within the regions where they have coverage (see table below). The warnings contain current latitude and longitude coordinates, intensity, system motion and wind distribution information as well as forecasts of position, intensity and wind distribution for a range of lead times. Current and forecast intensities are given by all of the above agencies as 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the nearest 5 knots.

Warning updates may be provided more frequently than indicated in the table due to significant changes in the cyclone or errors in the last warning issued.
